Dana Wohlfeiler-Lalkin is the initiator and director of Local Testimony and has been responsible for the World Press Photo exhibition in Israel since 2002.

The independent jury comprises photographers, curators, journalists and editors, members of the media and critics of photography, arts and visual art.

Great effort has been invested in creating a computerized system that will guarantee the participants’ anonymity during the jury process. The personal details of the participants will be safeguarded by the members of the editorial board who are in charge of receiving the photographs.

The jury will devote the best part of a month to the submitted work in order to carry out an in-depth examination and evaluation of each photograph submitted to the preliminary contest.
