The “Local Testimony” exhibition is named after the late Lior Ziv, a military photographer who was killed while covering an operation of the Givati brigade of the Israel Defense Forces in the town of Rafiah in the southern Gaza Strip. Both the news category and the daily-life category reflect the terrible toll in blood exacted by the confrontation in Gaza. There are also many images connected to the building of the separation fence in the West Bank.
